Suspension and withdrawal of a certificate are decisions of the accredited conformity assessment body that issued it. Cetonix does not issue certificates and does not make those decisions, so we do not maintain a suspended-client register.
Accredited CABs are required to publish the current status of the certificates they issue, including suspension and withdrawal. If you need to confirm the standing of a certificate, check the register of the issuing body named on the certificate, or contact that body directly.
If the certificate was arranged through Cetonix and you are not sure which body issued it, send us the certificate number and we will identify the issuing body and point you at its register.
Suspension is normally temporary and follows a major non-conformity that has not been closed within the agreed period, a missed surveillance audit, or misuse of the certification mark. A suspended certificate must not be presented as current. Withdrawal is permanent and ends the certification.
